This Hotel is a Horror Show
The moment I stepped inside this dump, a chill ran down my spine. The receptionist had eyes like soulless orbs and a smile that didn't reach their drawn-on facade. The air/atmosphere was thick with the scent of damp mildew and something else, something indescribably foul.
The hallway carpet was stained a suspicious variety of reds, and the walls were adorned with portraits of long-dead eyes. Each creak/ groan/ moan from the building sounded like a dying animal/the footsteps of something unseen/a tortured soul screaming. I immediately regretted my decision/started to panic/felt a primal urge to flee but it was too late. I was trapped in this cursed hotel/haunted asylum/sinister nightmare.
There were no patrons to be seen, only the creaking floorboards/shifting walls/whispering voices that seemed to taunt me. I tried to find my way back to the lobby/reception area/entrance, but every turn led me deeper into this abomination/cursed labyrinth/horrific maze.
